Leanne MacKay | Set Dresser/Props Master/Doll Designer
Leanne MacKay is a Vancouver-based set dresser and props master. After working with Jamie Travis as an assistant production designer and props assistant for The Saddest Boy in the World, she found her niche in the art departments of Vancouver independent films. In addition to Saddest Boy and the Patterns movies (for which she honed her skills to create lifelike voodoo dolls of the main actors), Leanne worked as the art director of Chelsea McMullan’s short film Plume (TIFF 2006). Currently she attends the Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design, where she is working toward her Bachelor of Visual Fine Arts.
