Ghislaine Maxwell’s lawyers are trying to get their hands on a pair of cowboy boots that Jeffrey Epstein once bought a teen — and the original photo of Virginia Giuffre with Prince Andrew, new court documents show.
Maxwell, 59, is charged in Manhattan federal court with allegedly recruiting three girls to be abused by her and Epstein in the 1990s and lying about it.
The unusual requests were revealed in a motion unsealed Friday from Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, which represents more than five of Epstein’s victims — including Annie Farmer and Giuffre, who has claimed she was groomed by Maxwell to be the late pedophile’s sex slave.
Sigrid McCawley, a lawyer for the firm, wrote that Maxwell’s proposed subpoena is “overbroad” and a “fishing expedition” to obtain victims’ personal information to be used to impugn their characters.
Among the requested items are the cowboy boots Maxwell and Epstein purchased for Farmer after she was flown to the pedophile’s New Mexico ranch allegedly to be abused by them.
The British socialite is charged with perjury for claiming during a deposition she never gave Farmer a topless massage in a since-settled 2016 defamation suit Giuffre brought against her.
Maxwell’s attorneys are also seeking an original copy of the now-infamous photo of Giuffre, Prince Andrew and Maxwell at her London townhouse in 2001.
Giuffre has claimed that she was just 17 when she was taken to the property and forced to have sex with Prince Andrew — an accusation that the royal has vehemently denied.
In addition, Maxwell’s lawyers want all recent communication between the firm and law enforcement about Epstein pal Jean-Luc Brunel, a model scout who is being probed in Paris for the alleged sex trafficking of minors.
Maxwell’s defense team has accused the high-powered legal firm of improperly sharing information with prosecutors from the Southern District of New York to build a criminal case against her.
She has pleaded not guilty to a six-count indictment and remains jailed pending trial at the Metropolitan Detention Center — after a judge rejected her third bid for bail. Epstein committed suicide in his jail cell while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges.
